DISDAIN, DISCRIMINATION, DEFAMATION TOWARD DEMOCRATS IN INDIANA'S 3rd largest city: The following is just one example.
A divorced family man, father of two moved to Indiana's 3rd largest city in 2004 after getting divorced to be near his grown son who had recently moved there. This highly skilled and qualified DEMOCRAT, a college degreed graduate with over 120 hrs total college credit, a licensed HVAC tech, a 20 year union member, was never offered a permanent full time job until a Canadian employer hired him in Oct of 2009.
He was forced to work part time jobs, temp jobs, never gaining enough in wages to disqualify him for food stamps until being hired by the Canadian employer.
The temp employer Aerotech, which employ approximately 20-40% of the production line workers at the Toyota assembly plant in Princeton, IN. was just one of the many employers to DISCRIMINATE against this hight skilled and qualified DEMOCRAT.
After testing with this employer and being dismissed without even an interview. Being told he had failed the responsiblility part of the multiple choice exam. This 20 yr UNION member, who had been hired in 1978 and worked for 17 years as a control room operator, also known as a Ball Mill Operator, at this location, UNIMIN SPECIALTY MINERALS in ELCO, ILLINOIS, located alongside highway state route 127, in Alexander Co. ILLINOIS. This 17 year control room operator was totally in charge of running two multi-million dollar production lines at this silica mill. My main duty was to monitor over 400 different amp gauges, charts, and other instrumentation that monitored every electrical motor and thermocouple in these two production lines. I was able to stop, start, and monitor each of these motors. I had authority to stop and start these two production lines at anytime I deemed it necessary, instantly without getting anyone's prior approval.
Other duties also consisted of performing maintenance on some of this equipment, as well as gathering and checking hourly production samples. In effect I was doing 3 peoples job, machine operator, maintenance man, quality control inspector. Yet Aerotech dismisses this college educated , degreed, licensed HVAC tech, without so much as an interview. Based soley on the results of multiple choice test.
I am a prime example of Romney's out of touch, bious judgement about the 47%. Millions of DEMOCRATS sometimes work a lifetime without ever getting hired into higher paying jobs that would make them "income tax payers. I submitted hundereds of resumes after moving to this city, to practically every heating and air contractor in the city, because that was what my Associate Degree was in. I had a UNIVERSAL EPA classificaiton, meaning I could work on either residental or industrial equipment of any size.
Romeny and other like minded republican hiring managers, business owners, and human resource people in charge of hiring are guilty of the very same bious attitude toward skilled and qualified DEMOCRATS. It is this very DISCRIMINATION that makes it a must to keep the social safety net in place. Becasue it is needed, by millions of workers who through no fault of their own are victimized by these DISCRIMINATORY HIRING PRACTICES.
IT IS TIME FOR ROMNEY AND OTHER REPUBLICAN HIRING MANAGERS TO "ACCEPT RESPONSIBLITY" FOR THEIR DISCRIMINATORY HIRING PRACTICES AND THEIR VERY ACTIONS THAT HAVE KEPT QUALIFIED AND SKILLED DEMOCRATS IN THIS 47%, IT IS THEIR ACTIONS, NOT BECAUSE THESE PEOPLE HAVE NOT TRIED TO GAIN HIGHER PAYING JOBS.
